The Chamber Welcomes NWA Second Stage Transitions to the Siloam Springs Community!

The NWA Second Stage Transition, a Nonprofit Organization, was founded by Cecelia Dorko in 2019 to bring awareness of domestic violence, sexual assaults, substance abuse, and homelessness in the Siloam Springs Community. The organization was established to empower, provide a safe environment, and supportive emergence transitional home for individuals who have experienced homelessness situation due to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual aggression and/or drug and alcohol addiction.

To encourage transformation by learning necessary life skills, live healthy lifestyle, and to become an independent adult in the community Currently she offers:  

Drug/Alcohol Addiction Services

1. Family and Individual counseling

2. Assessments required by probation, parole, agencies, excluding driver's license.

Mental Health Services:

1. Couple Counseling

2. Depression

3. Anxiety

4. Lost, Co-occurring Disorders, Grief

5. Anger Management

Domestic violence awareness-Referral-Safe Environment

Parenting Classes

*Required by probation, parole, employer. or self-referral

2. Basic parent skills

3. Co-parenting

4. Single parenting

Life Skills Awareness

1. Support Group

2. Case Management

In the future Cecelia hopes to add an emergency residential home that will be available to people on their path to empowerment and  to gain their human dignity.
